What is a new generation wood composite?
2nd generation wood composite is a relatively new product on the Polish market. The composite board has no grooves as in a traditional composite board, but it is a uniform, smooth structure and at the same time a cover for the board’s core. The outer coating is not only a protective function, but also an aesthetic one, reflecting the structure of the wood surface and available in various colors.
What is Millboard?
Millboard boards are formed on the basis of carefully selected samples of high-quality oak, reflecting the natural beauty of the original. Only Millboard composite boards are manufactured with this craftsmanship. The material the board is made of is a new generation RMC (Resin Material Composite), completely free of wood. It consists of a polyurethane resin reinforced with glass fiber with the addition of minerals. Made in UK – one of a kind, not counterfeited in any way around the world.
Does the Lenta board have an anti-slip structure?
At first glance, the structure of the board may seem slippery, but nothing could be further from the truth. After contact with water, the board even brakes the foot. We do not have grooves here, so it is not possible for water to stay on the terrace. The most popular method of verifying the floor’s slip resistance is the slip resistance test, also referred to as PTV (Pendulum Test Value). Our boards received a score of 37 which means a low risk of slipping in the classification.
What lengths are Lenta composite boards available in?
Lenta boards and joists are 280 cm long. The finishing strip is always a little longer to cover the sides of the mounted terrace and is 283 cm long. It is not possible to order a terrace with a length other than 280 cm. Development investments are the only exception.
How does the assembly of the boards look like?
The Lenta terrace system is extremely intuitive and easy to install. The set includes a substructure made of composite joists, clips for mounting the board and a finishing strip. The assembly does not require any specialized tools except a miter saw, screwdriver and drill.
What is the resistance of Lenta boards?
The second generation composite terrace board is a product with a high class of resistance to weather conditions as well as many mechanical damage. Thanks to the external polymer cover, the board has additional protection, which prevents, for example, chipping of the composite mass, which may occur in the case of 1st generation boards.
Do the boards get warm in the sun?
They heat up like everything that is exposed and prolonged contact with the sun’s rays. However, they do not get hot enough to make walking on them with bare feet, even on a hot day, unpleasant for the skin. Go ahead and lie naked on the terrace in the middle of summer 🙂
How will the purchased boards be delivered to me?
We send the product on wooden pallets with dimensions of 280 x 80 cm, on which we can load about 30 m2 of a full terrace system. The maximum weight of such a pallet is 800 kg. Important! The transport service does not include unloading the goods at the place of delivery.
What is the abrasion resistance of a Lenta board?
Thanks to the durable polymer coating, the 2nd generation composite board has a very low degree of abrasion and it is comparable to a concrete floor.
Do Lenta boards change color?
Absolutely not. We have not noticed any color changes, even in the terraces that are several years old. It has been assumed that in each wood composite there is a phenomenon of color stabilization, which means that a terrace board with several months of exposure to the sun may fade. This phenomenon does not occur in our product.
How do we clean Lenta terraces?
It’s very simple, because you can simply use a household mop for cleaning, it is washed like a regular floor. No special measures are needed. In the case of dirt such as changes to sand, you can use a pressure washer. By the way, we invite you to watch our movie showing how difficult it is to get a Lenta board dirty.
Can only the board be mounted?
Absolutely not, every terrace requires a solid substructure. It is best if we place it on a concrete screed, but if we do not have such a screed and our substrate is bare earth, a simple substructure made of concrete blocks can be used. Can the Lenta board be painted?
There is no such necessity and the painting process itself would not work in this case. The Lenta decking board does not absorb any liquids or substances, so the paint itself will remain on the outer cover and will not soak into the structure of the board.
How much does 1 m2 of terrace weigh?

How is Millboard assembled?
Our unique, patented concealed deck fixtures make Millboard installation as easy as no other deck. There is no need to drill holes before assembly. The Lastane® material on each Millboard allows the screw to simply sink into the structure of the board, creating an invisible finish. Made of stainless steel, the screws have a six-point Torx head.
Do Millboards need maintenance?
The Millboard surface is maintenance-free and prevents the growth of algae, which significantly reduces the risk of slipping, even on wet boards. The pigments used to color the Lastane® layer are highly resistant to UV radiation. The second layer of color is always applied by hand, which gives each board a unique character.
What is Millboard Elevation?
Millboard composite facade boards are systems of facade boards that come in two types: classic facade and 3D facade. The Millboard facade system can be installed vertically and horizontally using the joist system under the facade boards.
How to mount joists for a composite facade on a wall?
Construction joists cut to the appropriate length are attached to the walls with expansion bolts with a diameter of min. 10-12 mm (or chemical anchors). The length and type of dowels depends on the type of building wall material and insulation thickness. The dowel should be mounted in the wall 10-12 cm, the size should be supplemented with the thickness of the insulation / thermal insulation and the thickness of the construction joist.
When selecting the dowels, the load on the attachment point permissible by the manufacturer must be taken into account.
It should be remembered that during the assembly the end (the head of the screws / bolts) of the fastenings used should be hidden in the construction joists so that the installed facade board does not stick out from the substructure.
It is recommended to fix the construction joists with dowels every 50 cm.
